My House

Here are some pictures of my new house. The house has 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs, 1 downstairs), 3 bathrooms (2 up, 1 down), living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, back porch, 2 decks, and a 3-car garage.

When I bought the house, the interior sported carpets that were in good shape, but I was horrified by the color (mauve/pink). Before I moved in, I replaced the carpet in the living, dining, and family rooms with hardwood floors, and the bedrooms with new, more neutral carpets. The only piece I still have of the old carpet is a doormat in my laundry room.

The neighborhood is very "suburban" - it reminds me of the places I used to live while growing up in Pennsylavania, Ohio, and Michigan. If you want to know how to get here, you'll have to e-mail me for the details...

The backyard slopes up quite a bit. I refer to the deck up there as the sniper's roost. Though I'm not sure who owns the property above my yard, or what its status is, but I don't expect it to be a problem. Gee, maybe I can get the rights to put a helipad up there...
